Been on Remicade for 9 months. I take it for Chrons. 4 months ago I began getting severe joint pains that move around daily to different parts of my body (Knees, shoulder, fingers, feet, elbows). When I get my infusion I do not have the symptoms but after a week they return. Not really show what is occurring, but I will be going to see a Rheumatologist in a few months to discuss. In the meantim, has anyone using Remicade experienced similar effects.

hi.. i don't know if you have ever visited any other forums but there is beginning to be quite a large number of us with this awful problem the rhuemy will tell you htat now you have arthritis .. hmmmm all my test were negative.. and that you need more remicade! don't do it.. my life is destroyed now.. i can no longer work ..the pain that i live with is completley disabling.. good luck i am currently seeking answers at a major medical institution that is studying the side effect of remicade...

OMG! I have had the same issue and now due to a nodule that was found in my lung cannot get the Remicade right now so I am getting worse by the day. The pain moves from one joint to the next, eventually making its way through my entire body and I start getting twitching in my joints as well. I have only had this happen once before and that was because I was late getting my Remicade. Now they are telling me it could be months even up to a year before I could get it again. Literally everyday I wake up and something new is aching. I am taking prescription pain meds but they are not working anymore. I am afraid that eventually I will be bed ridden if it keeps going at the rate that it is. Have either of you found any other sites that discuss the side effects of Remicade? I would like to get to the bottom of this problem. I am only 31 years old and right now I can't enjoy life with the pain that I am in...

.. yes they do! and when we start having issues they look the other way or just give you more more more... blame it something but omg not the R. i have horrific inflammation that takes over my body now.. high fever ungodly pain.. and on and on. after my 3rd loading dose it began and they just gave me more more for 2 years! and now i wish i had my m/m chrons back and not this.
you know i donot know why these sites don't gather the data and give it to us in some format so we can see exactly what is going on you know.. you must search and searach it would be advantaGeous for US , the drug companies and doctors if they could see the TRUTH... (all the similar symptoms etc and do something about it..) AND THE HELL PEOPLE ARE GOING THROUGH .. THEY ARE QUITE REMISS IN THIS. GOOD LUCK STOP TAKING IT!
