Hey everyone,

I just started on remicade, I know one of the side effects of Remicade is fainting. I have fainted and felt very light headed few times. I literally just started and believe me this isn't the first time I've started meds for crohns. However, I am worried about this fainting thing. I talked to my doctor about it and he said that if I continue to feel light headed to let him know. I was just wondering other peoples experiences.

I've never fainted from Remicade. I would say if that happens again, definately tell your doctor. Remicade might not be right for you. What other meds have you tried? I have been through many as well. When I first started I did experience side effects, I think that is fairly common. Hope this helps and Remicade works for you!

Nope never fainted. My heart did start to race at one visit & I felt faint from breathing to hard I guess. They removed the IV flushed the tube & had a lady it with me for the next hour. Boy was that fun not. That was the only time. I did notice them checking the infusion machine & removed it from the floor so it is possible it malfunctioned & the drip was to fast.
