how old is she? i was 14 when i was dx and i was going into my first year of high school. It is hard to adjust to having crohns but it's mainly the medication that gets to me. i hated taking prednisone and it just made me even more self concious. tell her that she shouldn't be shy and it is a great motivator in life. it just makes me want to do more just to prove to myself that i can be stonger than this disease. i am almost 16, so if she wants to talk to me i wouldn't mind! my email is lindsaymrose@msn.com
