When Josh Golder was 14 years old, he was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. He had never heard of the disease and the information available about the disease was limited. Josh endured many different trials of medications to find the right one that worked for him. After going through such an arduous process, Josh decided he wanted to make a difference. With that Josh decided to produce True Guts, a documentary film about living with and struggling with Crohn's Disease. The film is a motivational tool designed to help people with Crohn's Disease realize that just because they have the disease, doesn’t mean they can’t achieve great success their life. In the film, Josh poignantly states, "Whenever you get an opportunity to do something that will lead to a better more rewarding life, make sure you jump on it one hundred percent." True Guts was produced in 2006, and in 2007 it won two major awards. The Freddies, are the Oscars of the health care industry, and True Guts won best medical film of the year! True Guts has touched the lives of so many people, a community has formed.
Now Josh wants to use his influence and the True Guts community to help as many people as he can. Josh knows how difficult it can be to find the right medicine to help. With that in mind he has designed this site and a site on Remicade to help people understand each drug through real life stories of people who have tried each medication.
